This is an important reminder regarding our upcoming meeting on Thursday, May 21th. Your attendance and participation are extremely important as we will be hosting special guests from the Black Health Equity Group; this organization leads the charge in our Drug Free / No Menthol Tobacco training's and efforts.
Our guests are coming to tour the City of Gary, learn more about the work we have accomplished, and hear directly about the importance of building a healthier, more informed community for the citizens we serve. Mrs. Irene Boone-Phillips will be our facilitator on tobacco policy. This is an opportunity to showcase the impact of our coalition, our partnerships, and the continued need for this work within our city.
Meeting Schedule – Thursday, May 21st
- Community Meeting: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- City Tour: 11:20 AM – 1:30 PM
- Business Meeting: 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
We are asking all members and partners to please make every effort to attend and be engaged throughout the day. Your presence matters and helps demonstrate the strength and commitment of our coalition and community.
