Deterra Bags are a safe medication disposal system. They can be used at home or in a clinical setting to destroy and properly dispose of unused, unwanted, and expired medications. The bags contain active carbon to render drugs inert, making them safe to throw away.
- Place unwanted medication capsules, liquids, or patches in the bag containing activated charcoal.
- Add warm tap water to activate the compound.
- Seal the bag and shake it gently.
- Dispose of it in a normal trash receptacle.
