DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\nThis is an important reminder regarding our upcoming meeting on Thursday, May 21th. Your attendance and participation are extremely important as we will be hosting special guests from the Black Health Equity Group; this organization leads the charge in our Drug Free / No Menthol Tobacco training’s and efforts.\nOur guests are coming to tour the City of Gary, learn more about the work we have accomplished, and hear directly about the importance of building a healthier, more informed community for the citizens we serve. Mrs. Irene Boone-Phillips will be our facilitator on tobacco policy. This is an opportunity to showcase the impact of our coalition, our partnerships, and the continued need for this work within our city.\nMeeting Schedule – Thursday, May 21st\n\nCommunity Meeting: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM\nCity Tour: 11:20 AM – 1:30 PM\nBusiness Meeting: 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM\n\nWe are asking all members and partners to please make every effort to attend and be engaged throughout the day.
